Vintage dresser box marked as Betson's Handpainted Japan. It is a most generous size of 9 1/2 x 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches, which allows many uses and is quite impressive as a display. Off-white/ivory in color with raised painted very pale pink and aqua roses and greenery. The pic shows front and inside which shows the two holes for hanging. You can hang or sit. Tin and made by Ransburg - label in printed on bottom. Very nice chic piece for today's decor. It is in very good condition with minor marks from the age. Measures: 11"wide x 5"deep and the holder itself is 2.5" deep.

This is an antique English Edwardian perfume bottle or vanity bottle with a hallmarked sterling silver screw lid that I brought home from England. The English hallmarks are for the famous London firm of Chas and Geo Asprey, the date mark for 1907 with the sterling lion rampant. The bottle measures 2.5 inches high by 1.2 inches in diameter and still smells of perfume. It was probably part of a vanity case or travel kit in the Edwardian era. This is a victorian hair receiver or hair receptacle made by the Queen City Silver Company of Cinncinati, Ohio USA 1890-1910 and was a part of every victorian woman's vanity set. This particular piece is of pressed glass with a damascened or niello silverplate lid. The hair receiver measures 2.5 inches high by 5 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition. This wonderful epergne features a lovely blue cased glass with a white layer. It is in the ruffled wave crest look, and there are three shallow dishes with one central horn. It stands on an unusual gilded brass base which has gold leaves and gold rings hanging from it. It measures a foot high and 10 1/2 in. in width. It is a very impressive piece and is in excellent condition for its age. There are no chips, cracks or breaks. This would make an awesome centerpiece. ~Enjoy!
