Card cases were fashionable items in the 19th century, and this coin silver one made c. 1860 by Albert Coles of New York would have made a notable statement for its owner. It measures 3 3/8" by 2 3/8" by 1/8". Both sides of the piece are intricately engraved with ivy and lotus or palmetto leaf detailing, which are motifs that would have been especially popular at the time. Lovely pair of mid-19th Century, probably English, solid brass candlesticks, in "as is" condition. They are fairly soiled, show slight amount of superficial rust, one top piece shows an area of having been soldered (pictured), both have a few very minor scrapes, scratches, and little dings, one is missing the pushup. Here is a lovely glass paperweight by the Glass Eye Studio, dated 1983. It is 3" in diameter, is 2 1/4" tall. It is etched "The Glass Eye MSH 1983". Made with Mt. Saint Henlens volcanic ash. It is a beautiful blue irridescent color like carnival glass. No chips, or scratches and is in excellent condition.

For sale is an early gold filled / rolled gold telescoping mechanical pencil, dated 1846. The pencil is 3 1/2 inches long retracted, 4 1/4" long when extended. The body is decorated with engraved decoration as shown. It has a sliding loop on the barrel with a round link for wearing. It has a red glass jewel on the cap. It is monogrammed "C.A. Kneedler 1846" as shown. There are no marks.

Here we have a vintage Horshoe shape paperweight from Reno, with four 1978 shiny copper pennies inside, for 4x the luck. This was probably from the Horseshoe casino, I'm guessing. Four little felt pads on the bottom. Measures 4" tall 3 1/2" wide and is 1/2" thick. Nice condition with no scratches.

This magnificent vintage piece of crystal is hand cut and polished and not a single chip or ding. Cut with large facets and has a well cut inside for ink, that is tapered to hold a pen. This is a very ornate old Victorian piece. It appears to be bronze or brass and then has gold gilding or leaf over the top. It has what looks like 6 rubies and either 2 blue opaline or turquoise cabochon jewels. It has a pen rest on the tray and an inkwell, but the lid is missing. Still it is a lovely old piece.
