Heavy Brass Double Inkwell, on four Chippendale feet, impressed in one corner weight, "Made in Spain." Two upright pen holders. 9-1/2" x 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" to top of wells, 1" to top of platform. Very tarnished; a good polishing should cause this set to clean up quite well and gleeming. Other wear consistent with age, as seen in photos. c. 1920-1940. $14 US Shipping.

This walnut Barlow desk set contains what appears to be a scrimshaw medallion with a pair of mustangs racing across the prairie. The gold-tone writing pen has been tested and works fine. The base measures approximately 5" X 3 3/8". The set is in the original box. We have not been able to locate another set like this, so we cannot put an accurate date on the piece. This is another wonderful vintage pen that I found at an estate sale. Marked around the middle Caran D'ache swiss gold filled "G". This pen measures 5-1/4" and is in very good vintage condition. I could find no dents, however, there is some very minor wear to the gold plate in one spot near the top of the pen.

This is a wonderful piece of Victorian Brass! A double inkwell with original crystal ink bottles with brass caps. The brass needs a good cleaning but I will leave that to those who know better how to clean it! It is very heavy but can be shipped in a flat rate box to US for $8.95. There are no marks on this remarkable item. It measures about 11 x 6 inches.

This is just a phenomenal sterling-mounted desk set, comprising a large inkwell and a paper-weight. They are both made by Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor of London in 1900, and fully hallmarked accordingly.
The inkwell consists of a stag-mounted, foliage-covered sterling lid on a heavy lobed crystal body, of square form.Inside the inkwell there is the original sterling-mounted glass inkpot, also hallmarked. The inkwell sits inside a heavy dark-wood base.

This is an antique English brass wax stamp or letter seal with a thistle finial. The was seal measures 4 inches long and was made by J W and Co, Ltd. and is marked British rather than Made In England, and dates to 1900-1920. The initial plate unscrews from the base and the piece is beautifully made and is in very good +++ condition but does show some wear on the fancy thistle leaf design on the handle from use. A beautiful item with a Scottish flavor. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
