A wonderful 10-3/4" Service Plate/Charger Imperial Manufactured by Salem China Co. The Godey ladies plates were made during the 1940's and 1950's. Salem China ceased manufacturing in 1967. The fancy gold filigree trim overlays the wide rim of the plate. Godey's hand tinted Fashion prints were originally featured in the Godey Lady's Book Magazine which was published in Philadelphia from 1830 until 1898. These wonderful vintage crowing roosters were recently aquired from a local estate. Some call them cockerels or chanticleer. They are tall, measuring 12 1/2". The have no marking on the bottoms, so probably had a sticker at one time with the makers name. These look very much like Brad Keeler, but thats just my opinion and not 100% positive. Pretty vintage porcelain angel attached to a metal filigree stand. Her banner says May and she holds an arm full of flowers for that month. Cord with switch clips in and uses a regular night light Christmas tree bulb. Made of bisque & is hand painted. Perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Maybe Norcrest or Lefton, but no tag. She may be able to hold perfume in her halo and be used as a perfume lamp. 5 1/2" tall.
