Antique metal bed warmer hot water filled, Yutampo

This is a neat find. An old metal water filled bed warmer, with a brass screw cap. Appears to be all hand forged. These were filled with hot water and slid under the covers to warm the bed. Some were even filled with oil and heated as oil kept hot longer. In Japan they call them a Yutampo, and use them for heating the beds as Japan winters are extremely cold. This one is 12" in diameter and is 6" thick, plus the nice thick bail handle. Original brass screw on cap. This would be nice to even use... Click for details

A wonderful 8 1/4" Fenton Bicentennial plate. The front of this plate has George Washington kneeling in prayer. The title to this plate is "In God We Trust". These plates were issued in January 1976. These Geisha Girl items are gorgeous! The large bowl has a ruffled edge, measures 7 ¼” diameter, and 1 ¾” tall. The 10 small bowls measure 3” diameter, 1 1/8” tall.
I’m not certain if these bowls originally were a set but they were together when I purchased so I’m listing them together.
All bowls are in excellent condition and have lots of gold trim/color accents. Super!

This Franshaw state souvenir hanky is for Minnesota and the hem has the larger scallops. Measures 13 ¼” x 13 ½” and is in wonderful condition – it has a small spot above the first “N” in Minnesota, barely visible but it is there. Not detrimental but priced to reflect being a little less than perfect.

Super nice unmarked McCoy planter! This is a strawberry jar (or hen and chicks planter) and is in a pretty matte white color. Measures 6 ½” tall and is in wonderful condition with no evidence of “use”. It has a ½” closed stress mark at two of the “chick” openings – they are production and not detrimental to this older stoneware planter. This is a super addition to a stoneware or matte white collection!

Made in 1941, vase measures 5 ½” tall and bottom is marked Made in USA, McCoy.
Vase is in a pretty peach color and is in wonderful condition with no “use” evidence. It has a non-color/glaze on one side and a 1/8” closed stress on rim – both are production McFlaws and are of no consequence.
