This really nice Currier and Ives Creamer and Sugar Bowl with Lid were made by Royal China. The Creamer and Sugar Bowl measure 2 1/4 inches high X 4 inches in diameter. This is another very pretty Eisenberg Ice Christmas tree pin! It is silver-tone with faux pearls and clear rhinestones. Pin measures 2” x 1 ½” and is marked Eisenberg Ice. If you look closely, you can see there is one faux pearl missing – not noticeable but I have adjusted price to reflect this small imperfection.

Lincoln & Foss, c. 1850, is one of several Boston partnerships that Charles Foss entered into.

This example is a 6 5/8" long, approximately 1.0 T. oz., preserve spoon or large sugar spoon.

The style is characteristic of the period, with an "Oval Thread" pattern handle and a shell bowl. The backside carries a script "JAL" monogram.

In very good condition, it is essentially absent wear and has a warm, bright, patina. The bowl is free of dents, dings, cracks, or burrs.

Offered is a good American coin silver master butter knife by Cincinnati silversmith Wilson McGrew (1800-1859), circa 1840-50. This piece has a great flared fiddle pattern, and serving pieces in this style are hard to find. This piece has an engraved period script monogram and a clear, well-struck maker's mark. Rice is mostly mentioned after 1830, but this spoon appears to have been made earlier, perhaps at the beginning of his career. Offered is a scarce example of very early hallmarked sterling silver from Sheffield - a fine dessert fork and knife hallmarked for 1805-06, and bearing the maker's mark of noted Sheffield silversmith John Law. These pieces have decorated mother of pearl handles and the knife is also engraved with an armorial of a ram's head.
