Cambridge Caprice Blue Ashtray is in mint condition. It is about 2.5-3" across. It does have the slot at the end for a matchbook or business card for a table setting. Caprice was made from 1936-57.

This is the shy pig piggy bank by Rio Hondo Pottery. A California based pottery from the 1940's. Measures 4 1/2" tall and all hand painted and glazed.Great condition other than the small glaze chip you see in the photo on his nose.

Measuring 7 7/8" long, with a round bowl 2 1/2" in diameter and 3/8" deep, and weighing 2.1 T. oz., this piece is French in origin

It is fully stamped with Paris hallmarks for first standard, i.e. .950 pure (vs. .925 for sterling), including the "bearded man" head used 1819-38, a female head large guaranty mark, and a bigorne.

The maker's mark is diamond shape with a tower like image in the center, three letters in the left, right, and bottom corners, the right hand one of which is "G"... Click for details

Vintage figurine of really cute puppy made from pressed pecan wood. It was manufactured in the USA by Red Mill Mfg and the original label. The dog looks much like a cocker spaniel or golden retriever puppy. In excellent condition, it 5" x 5". Circa 1950s.

One of the pairings within the Bateman Family of silversmiths, that of Peter and Ann, brother and sister-in-law, son and daughter-in-law respectively, of Hester, dates from the last decade of the 18th century.

This 8 3/4" long, approximately 2.0 T. oz., table or serving spoon, has complete and clear marks for these makers, "PB/AB," sterling, 1791, and a duty (bust) stamp.

It is an "Old English" form with a downturned, tipt backside, handle.

Measuring 4 1/2" long and weighing .7 T. oz., this pair of sugar tongs are marked "Sterling" and "J.H. Hart," for the Brooklyn, New York retailer with dates 1857-c. 1910.

This piece is a small silver jewel in that its major feature, namely the bright cut Aesthetic period engraving on each arm, that includes a lily of the valley flower, is exquisitely executed in a technique that shows diamond cutting at its finest. A very lengthy 10 7/8" overall, with a triangular blade that measures 5" by 3" at the widest, and weighing 3.1 T. oz., this pie or pastry server dates to the third quarter of the 19th century.

It is marked "Bigelow.Bros & Kennard" for the major Boston firm that operated under several name variations, and "925" in an oval for sterling silver.
