Wonderful vintage tea service for six. Teapot w/lid, creamer, sugar w/lid, six cups & six matching saucers. All are hand painted with a Japanese scene of Mt Fuji, pagoda house, ocean and landscape. Teapot is 7 1/4" tall. cups are 2 1/8" tall, to give you an idea of the size. I can't read Japanese but the stamp is Japanese characters. Popular in the 80's was Glenda goose from the Blue goose line. This one is made of ceramic with cold paint details. Made in Taiwan. Measures 13 3/4" tall. I have 2. They both have flaws, One has a chip on the inner part, and the other has a crack. Both had bits of paint loss, so they have been touched up with ceramic paint. Average condition one is pictured (before touch up). you choose which one.
