Watertown or Utica, NY Coin Silver Spoon by Lewis Wicks Clark, c.1830s
Silver : Coin Silver
Cliff Nunn - Antique Silver and Decorative Arts
20220309-02 $22.50
Offered is a nice example of the work of silversmith Lewis Wicks Clark, working in Watertown, New York between about 1832 and 1837, and in Utica in 1838. Lewis W. Clark married in 1843, so he lived at least that long, but his death date may be unknown. This spoon by style would fit well into the 1830s but could be from the 1840s. It measures about 6 1/8 inches in length and weighs about 19 grams. It has a rubbed but still legible maker's mark of L.W.CLARK and a period engraved script... Click for details

French silver tea tray, Maison Bloch Eschwége, .950 standard
Silver : Sterling : Hollowware
Bruce Cherner Antique Silver
2462 Sold
Paris circa 1920, no monogram, some extremely minor (and soft) dents but fine overall condition, no monogram, weight 82.6 Troy ounces, marked as shown in third and fourth photos.
This is a grand tea tray, fully two feet (exclusive of handles) by sixteen inches. I was tempted to include a foot, a baby or a small dog for scale, but judged the former to be in poor taste and could not furnish either of the latter. Buy it now, and watch the value increase as world order ceases to function!
