I started to call this a vintage "thingamajigger," but figured no one would find the listing. I've had it for over 15 years and never really decided what it was. A business card will fit the slot, but so would a calendar, and that does not explain the 2 recessed slots. Anyway, let's go with business card holder. It is a metal that feels like those old steel office desks that I love so much. There is a copper decal with a copper B attached. Please see photograph # 2 for the view of the back... This book contains eight stories from Humpty Dumpty's Magazine featuring Tinker the woodland elf (my favorite is Tinker Helps Santa Claus). Published in 1973 by Parent's Magazine Press, and very nicely illustrated by Jacqueline Chwast, this would make a fine addition to a young child's library. Our copy is in Very Fine condition. The only marks are an inscription written by a gift giver to the former owner inside the front cover. There is no dust cover to the library bounded book which has... Click for details

Singer Company, Inc., and beautifully illustrated by Irwin Greenberg, our copy is in Fine condition. The only flaws are "1C" written in ink on the front cover (which we presume was the grade the book was used for) an three stamped markings of the Resource Center where the book was in use (all on blank pages). Kindly E-Mail us if you have any questions. Thank you.

This delightful book for young readers was published in 1972 by Grosset & Dunlap Inc..It is a Weekly Reader Book very nicely illustrated by Kurt Werth. In spite of its age our copy is in Very Fine condition. Only slight bumping to the spine corners and a very nice inscription by a teacher to a former student inside the front cover does not detract from an otherwise exceptionally clean book. If you require additional information kindly E-Mail us. Thank you.
