Years ago, while visiting family in North Carolina, I found this rooster and the matching hen at an estate sale. The set survived the sale, the trip back home to Florida, a move from Florida to Alabama and a trip to visit my sister. My sister has collected rooster objects for many years, and I had bought these as a present for her. This is another one of those pieces, that I've seen and heard identified by several companies. I am not sure enough to give a name. If you are a collector, you will know. It has what looks like a manufacturing hairline crack. I've had it for 25 years and it was this way when I bought it. If you will look at the location right in the curve of the right wing, you will see the crack. There is no chipping or damage at the rim, just the tight crack.
