This vintage cookie jar just screams "1960's". Made of glazed ceramic with hand painted fruit decoration in the sliced out section of the pear. Measures 13 3/4" tall. Wonderful condition, but there is crazing. Made by Los Angeles Potteries Calif USA and dated '64. A very unique jar for your retro decor!

Upturned handles, tipt on top. Not fiddle. The incuse Wilcox mark is probably that of a retailer. Length 5-3/4". The monogram is a lengthwise script E.J.B. Overall and mark condition are excellent. Third quarter of the 19th century.

Upturned fiddle, tipt on top; chamfered rounded fins. Length 5-15/16". The monogram is a lengthwise script LR. Overall condition and mark condition are excellent. There is an interesting story on rootsweb about Royal Cowles, a silversmith in Cleveland, who is undoubtedly the maker of these spoons.
