JC Penneys Chintz Pillow Shams

Everyday Things
M-5834   $39.00

click for details
Late 70's or early 80's manufacture by JC Penneys. The pillow space measures 26 x 20 inches and including the ruffle, they measure 36 x 30 inches. The fabric blend is 50% polyester and 50% cotton in permanent press percale. There are no rips, tears, stains or damage. In fact, I do not believe they were used and if washed, it would have been just once. They still have the new feel to the fabric. Please email for more photos for identifying purposes. Queen size sheet in the same condition is... Click for details

10 1/2 inch plate. I am not sure of the age, but it does not have the Twin Towers as a site of the city. There are no chips, cracks or breaks, but has been displayed. There is minor wear to the gold trim and a few tiny scratches in the white area. You must look closely with the plate tilted to side and strong light to see them. I will be happy to provide additional photos. I need your zip code to calculate the postage.

Arpo China Plate

Everyday Things

Manufactured in Romania and does not seem to have an official pattern name. It is the dinner plate size. For identifying purposes, it is gold trimmed and I say this because there is a similar Arpo pattern. No chips, cracks or breaks, but some utensil marks as well as some loss of gold trim. I will be happy to provide additional photos upon request. I need your zip code to calculate the postage.

Scio Ransom Platter

Everyday Things
M-5826   $20.00

click for details
I've been collecting these dishes marked USA for years and never been able to definitively identify the maker, but believe they are Scio and the shape is ransom. I started collecting them because my mother and grandmother had sets of these when I was a child. They are rather hard to find without chips or cracks because they are quite brittle. This platter is 12 x 9 inches and is without chips, cracks or breaks. There were 2 sizes of the platter manufactured and this is the largest. There are... Click for details

Glassware : Depression

The Glass Cupboard
MG157   $48.00

These curtain tiebacks are original Depression era glassware made during the 1920's. They are NOT the reproductions being sold today. The tiebacks are about 5 inches long and mount to the wall with a wooden bracket (included) 3 are perfect, one has a flake chip on the back that's not visible from the front. (It's pictured so you can see it, but take my word for it, when in use, the damage does not show.) Price is $48 per tieback, the chipped one is $20 or free if you purchase the other 3. See my... DG242   $40.00

This little known U.S. Glass Company pattern has no official name, but it was christened 'Tendril' by Hazel Marie Weatherman back in the 1970's and that name has stuck. Originally produced in the late 1920's, the pattern has a floral motif in the base and vine-like designs on the edge of the larger plate. Offered here is the sugar & creamer set in excellent condition. Price is for the set. See my other listings for matching pieces.

Vintage Regal Aluminum Steamer

Everyday Things
M-5823   $42.00

click for details
All 3 pieces of the steamer are in this listing. The manufacturing information is very faint, but I can see R AL, and would assume it is Regal. It is 1 quart up to the steamer insert, so technically, it is larger. Highly stylized handles, which I believe are Bakelite. There are no dents to any of the pieces, however, as you can see the knob on the lid has been broken off, although the screw is still there. There is some pitting in the base of pot, but none on any other part of the set. Please... Click for details
