These six spoons are marked for Sheffield, England, sterling silver, year 1898-99, and "HA" for maker Atkin Brothers - Harry Atkin.

Measuring 5 3/8" long each and weighing 5.0 T. oz. the lot, they are 5 o'clock size, used for afternoon tea.

They have elaborately designed, cast, handles that are reminiscent in style to "apostle" spoons.

The design incorporates a pair of dolphins supporting a heart and flower or fleur-de-lis at the openwork handle tops. The lower ends of the stems portray... Click for details

This is a really great pair of Aladdin Ivory Leaves Electric Lamps. These Lamps measures 22 inches high to the top of the finials. The glass base-only measures 7 1/2 inches high. The original label is attached at the bottom. On the label is ALACITE ALADDIN. Both lamps are in very good condition with no chips or cracks that we see. Bright cut engraved designs were popular among American silver manufacturers during the last quarter of the 19th century, with this generously-sized, 9 1/4" long, nearly 2.7 T. oz., pie server a fine example of the style.

Made by Gorham, whose "lion, anchor, G" emblem and the word "Sterling" appear on the "Old English" tipt backside handle, the pattern is "Chrysanthemum," issued in 1885. Flowers, grasses, and birds were common themes for this genre.

Measuring 5 7/8" long, and weighing just over .8 T. oz., this sugar spoon was made by Durgin, marked with the company "D" emblem, "Sterling," and "Pat'd," and retailed by Philadelphia's "Bailey, Banks & Biddle," also so stamped.

The pattern is "Empire," which is a late 19th century design that incorporates imagery suggestive of the French court, nobility, and imperial realms. This includes a dominant crown, cornucopia, a torch and flame, a wreath and festoons of ribbons and flowers.

In pristine condition, this 6" long, "Statue of Liberty" themed spoon marked "Tiffany & Co." and "Sterling," is heavier at 1.3 T. oz. than other similar pieces.

Lengthy at 9 5/8" and weighty at 2.9 T. oz., this serving spoon has a large, 4" long by 2 1/2" at the widest by 5/8" deep, bowl with flanged shoulders, a central rib in the base, and a gold washed surface that is bright cut and wriggle work engraved in a blackberry and leaves design.

Dating circa 1880, it is stamped "J.S. MacDonald" for the late 19th century Baltimore firm, and with the word "Sterling."
