This group of six spoons remain with their original 7" x 5 3/4", crimson velvet lined with linen-like cover, gift box that is imprinted in gold script lettering, "Watson Silver."

Watson's "pennant" emblem and the word "Sterling" appear on the backsides of each of the 3 3/4" long spoons (as well as the box lid). The group weigh approximately 1.8 T. oz.

Dating from early in the 20th century, they are Art Nouveau in style and portray six different blossoms, leaves, and stems on the handle... Click for details

It is unusual to find an intact set of twelve ice spoons along with their original serving knife, aka slice, and even more so to have the set in such pristine condition as this group.

Made by Frank Smith, whose early "S in a circle" mark and "sterling" are imprinted on the backside of all pieces, along with the name of the retailer, "Worcester & Co.," Lowell, Massachusetts.

The server measures 10" long and weighs 2.7 T. oz., while each of the spoons is 5 3/4" long with the twelve weighing... Click for details

Dating from the mid 19th century, this pair of matched spoons each measure 7 3/8" long and weigh 1.7 T. oz. combined.

A "Fiddle Tipt" pattern, they would have been place pieces in their period, slightly larger than a contemporary dessert or oval soup, and smaller than a tablespoon.

They are stamped "L[eander]. Amadon" for the silversmith and jeweler who worked in Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Offered is a very scarce pair of early American coin silver table spoons by noted Philadelphia and later St. Louis silversmith Charles Frederick Billon. These by style would have been made in his St. Louis period. Each bears a legible maker's mark for Billon (one better than the other - see pictures), as well as a period engraved script monogram of "ED". Offered is a nice example of the work of Massachusetts and New Hampshire silversmith William Coffin Little (1745-1816), who worked in Massachusetts in the late 18th Century, and in Salisbury, NH between about 1800 and his death in 1816. This spoon by style should date to about 1810, so would likely have been made in Salisbury. This piece has a rubbed but legible maker's mark and a rubbed period engraved script monogram. Offered is a lovely Victorian English sterling silver master salt spoon by the noted firm of James and Josiah Williams of Bristol, England (though because Bristol had no assay office most of their silver was hallmarked at the Exeter assay office. Their information appears below. This piece is fully hallmarked as having been assayed at Exeter in 1865, and bears a clear maker's mark. It also has a nice engraved period script monogram. Offered is a nice set of five American coin silver dessert spoons bearing the scarce maker's mark of Prouhet & Witt, a St. Louis partnership of Hyppolite Prouhet and Thomas D. Witt that lasted from 1857 to 1862 or so. Each spoon has a legible maker's mark and also features a period engraved script monogram. Please review all pictures. This American coin silver tablespoon dating to about 1820-40 is not for sale, but rather one that I need some help with. It measures about 9 1/8 inches in length and weighs about 50 grams. It has a faint period script engraved monogram running across the top of the handle, and a maker's mark of D.G in a rectangular punch.
