M-2009   $39.00

click for details
This is one of Sunshine Biscuit's limited editions which was manufactured in 1985. It measures approximately 14 1/2" x 11 3/4" and features the Statue of Liberty on the lid and The Liberty Bell on the bottom. I do not see any dents, however, there are a quite a few dark spots. Those spots are not on the pictures, but rather on the rim. There is some loss of finish on the bottom area of the lid. The interior portion has several dark spots. When you turn the lid to the side, there appears to... Click for details

Otagiri Tiger Mug

Everyday Things
M-1999   Sold

click for details
Unique 10 oz. mug manufactured in Japan by Otagiri. On the back of the cup, there is a small area stating this is a "Design East, Inc." design. The photographs make the coloration of the tiger a darker orange than it is in reality. I've tried several methods of capturing the true color and it either is like these photos or washed out. There are no chips, cracks or breaks. There is a tiny spot of orange paint on the handle left during manufacture. I can not see any real damage to the finish.... Click for details

George Frederick Watts Esperance

Everyday Things
M-2000   $249.00

I believe the original was painted in 1885. The listed print was published in 1925 by Borin Mfg. Co., Chicago. The frame measures 17 3/4 x 13 3/4 inches and the exposed print measures 15 3/4 x 11 3/4 inches, however, the print is most likely closer to the frame size. The print and frame are showing much brighter than they are in reality, but I like natural light for full disclosure. There is no structural damage to the frame, but there is age related wear to the finish. It was purchased... Click for details

This pretty little southern lady sits by an open stump as she reads a book. She has a pretty fluffed lavender dress and matching hat. She has lots of gold trim and hand painted facial features. She appears to be Lefton or a Joseph Original. She would be nice to keep pens or for a vanity to keep makeup brushes and pencils in. She has no chips cracks or repairs or discoloration. She does have crazing, but is simply an elegant little figural planter. She is 5" tall. She is stamped, but it is too... Click for details

These aluminum coasters are different than usually found – they have a palm tree and deer design!

They are in their original box (badly worn) that shows these are “Kor-alume coasters, a product of Melko Mfg. Co, Chicago”.

There are supposed to be 8 in the box but there are only 7 – I would say that because of the poor condition of the box, one simply fell out and was lost.

These are nice coasters and are in wonderful condition.

Thank you for visiting Lin's... Click for details
