Offered is a good Victorian English sterling silver master salt spoon crested with an armorial of a duck, by noted London silversmith Charles Boynton (II), and fully hallmarked for London, 1863. This piece measures about 3 3/4 inches in length and weighs about 6 grams. Condition is good overall, with some wear but no splits or repairs. The bowl is intentionally shallow. All in all a nice useful piece, over 150 years old!

Offered is a good pair of earlier Chicago coin silver spoons, bearing the mark of Samuel Hoard & Co., in business at 117 Lake St. from about 1850 to 1854. Chicago silversmiths, jewelers and watchmakers are not widely documented, and it is always a treat to find silver bearing their marks. These teaspoons also each have a period engraved script monogram. They measure about 5 7/8 inches in length on average, and the pair weighs a total of about 28 grams. Offered is a good set of Georgian Irish sterling silver sugar tongs, fully hallmarked for Dublin, circa 1828-29, with a maker's mark of WC, most likely for Dublin silversmith William Cummins. According to web sources, Cummins worked from 1813 to 1846, was quite successful, and was expert at his craft. His name was apparently sometimes spelled “Comyns”. This set of sugar tongs measures about 6 1/8 inches in length and weighs a solid 46 grams. There is no monogram or armorial, and no sign... Click for details

Vintage metal souvenir tray for the state of the Hawaiian Islands features points of interest and the state flowers. Measures 11" diameter. Front is in very good condition with no scratches. There is a few small areas of blisters on the paint on the edges. On the back it has some scuffs and scratches and a little more blistering in a larger area. Rare Cauliflower tureen with matching underplate. It is in nice condition with typical crazing,no chips, cracks. (I am throwing in the ladle, that has been repaired, at no cost, it is good for display) . The tureen and underplate are great though. The plate and Tureen is signed with an impressed mark. Aurasperse grey in 1960-1961, fall 1965-spring 1967, This piece is free from chips, breaks. Hagen is the only manufacturer of miniature ceramic animals left in the U.S. The company was founded in 1946 by Maxine and John Renaker. Maxine passed away a few years ago at the age of 89.
