Vintage TIARA Aqua Hey Diddle Diddle/Nursery Rhyme Plate! These nursery rhyme plates were originally made in clear glass by Indiana Glass in the 1920's and produced more recently by Indiana for subsidiary, Tiara. This aqua/turquoise color is beautiful and hard to find. In the middle of the plate are the cat and the fiddle, and the cow jumping over the moon. Bronze with silver overlay. The Heintz Buffalo, NY diamond mark and 1912 patent date. Height 8". Base diameter 4-1/2"; top diameter 3-1/2". No monogram. Mark condition excellent. Overall condition: not perfectly straight, minor blemishes from candle wax, no bobeche.

Nice large shallow serving bowl would be perfect for salad, but I can imagine how pretty it would be filled with a big fluffy fruit salad. Made by Winart Pottery of Oklahoma which is no longer in business since 1982. Pretty pink with white drip edges. Bowl measures 9 3/4" in diameter and is 3" deep. No chips, cracks or wear.

A complete set of delightful EAPG berry bowls stamped NuCut. These were made by Imperial Glass Co in the very early 20th century. Master berry bowl measures 8" diameter and 3 1/2" deep. The 6 matching small bowls are 1 7/8" tall x 4 1/2" across. Most all of the bowls have slight roughness here and there on the serrated rims but they are not chips. Not unusual in this old pres cut crystal.

Another rare item from Vernon Kilns, a Duke University blue transferware sugar with lid and creamer in perfect condition. On the front of both pieces is written "DUKE UNIVERSITY" with images (left to right) of the Medical Center, Duke Chapel, and Woman's Coll. Auditorium. The back features the Engineering School, Stadium, and Library. Creamer measures 3" high x 5.5" widest, sugar with lid 4.5" high x 3.5".
