A 5" High 2 piece Fairy Light. The base is a beautiful Iridized Celeste Blue Color. The Upper portion is Iridized, Opalescent and Decorated with a gorgeous Royal Garden Floral pattern designed by Robin Spindler and Hand Painted by J. Powell. This piece is numbered # 242/1950. In the 1960's the Henry Ford Museum of Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan commissioned the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia to produce some pieces patterned after vintage glass pieces of the Ford Collection. This Ribbon Glass Compote is one of those pieces. It stands 7" Tall. The rectangular compote portion is 5 1/2" x 8" and the round base is a 4 1/4" Diameter. The Dolphin Footed base and stand is frosted. Condition is excellent. No chips, cracks or scratches.
