This is a silent butler, crumb catcher or possibly an ashtray (?) hand made in Israel. Oppenheim Israel. Vintage. I do not know the age--MAYBE the 60s or 70s. (?) Diameter is 6", length is 10" with the handle. It is made of hammered copper . The handle is brass. Very, very good condition. There are grapes and grape leaves on the lid. It is a beautiful piece. This is a very heavy cast iron mechanical coin bank. Vintage. He is "Uncle Sam". Put a coin in Uncle Sam's hand. Push the button behind his left foot and he will drop the coin in the money bag as it opens. His mouth opens, too. This is a great collectors' piece. Great gift, and a great conversation piece! This bank measures 11" tall x 4 3/4" wide x 4" deep. Very heavy. The stopper in the bottom of the bank is missing but any bank stopper should work. I have no idea how old this is...

This is a vintage CAST IRON GENERAL STORE BILL HOOK . These were used back in the day of hand written receipts. They were attached to the wall. On the back of this holder, it says " Pat. Nov. 1892". I think that is what it says and since these receipt hooks were used during the days of general stores, I think that would be the correct patent date. It would make a good key holder now. Or you could stick notes on it for other family members. Stick daily love notes on it...

This is a nice old cast iron standing string holder in very good condition. It measures 5" tall. The top twists off and on. There are tabs that lock it in place. These string holders were used in Mercantile General Stores to tie packages for customers..However, now it could be used in crafting projects. This item is cast iron and it is heavy. This is a very nice vintage ashtray with a covered wagon on it. It looks like bronze to me but I am not positive. It could be pot metal. There is a hole in the very middle of the wagon where matches stand. There is a little discoloration on the ashtray itself but it is old -- about 63 years old. It might come off with a little cleaning. The tray itself measures 5 3/8" at the widest part. Very good condition. It would probably shine with a little elbow grease and cleaning fluids...
