This brass ashtray is a puzzle to us. We do not know how old it is or where it was made. It IS really intriguing. It has a creature on the right top corner that looks like a dragon. Then , there are two children (?) trying to light a very long pipe in the middle of the ashtray. This is definitely a conversation starter. It has no marks on the back of the ashtray. It measures 5" high and 7" wide...

This is a vintage 60's California Pottery USA Ashtray #678. This ashtray measures 8 3/4" by 6" by 1 1/2" tall. It has six slots for cigarettes. The ashtray is in very good vintage condition with the Calif. U.S.A. mark.

Unused-still in the original packaging. It comes in a white box with instruction. Chrome. This is a great old style lift arm flint and lighter fluid lighter distributed by R. J. Reynolds Company in 1997. It measures about 1 1/2" tall and 1 1/4" wide. Interesting addition for your collection.

This is a rare, metal, vintage, mechanical bird cigarette dispenser and the original metal box that goes with it. It is in gold tones. It is from the 1940s. The mechanical pick-up bird is in great condition. On the front of the box are 2 levers and a bird. You push down on the lever and a tray slides out and the bird bends down to pick up the cigarette out of the tray. This item came from the estate of an elderly woman.

This is a very nice vintage ashtray with a covered wagon on it. It looks like bronze to me but I am not positive. It could be pot metal. There is a hole in the very middle of the wagon where matches stand. There is a little discoloration on the ashtray itself but it is old -- about 63 years old. It might come off with a little cleaning. The tray itself measures 5 3/8" at the widest part. Very good condition. It would probably shine with a little elbow grease and cleaning fluids...

There is one windmill bulb pot which is NOT MARKED. Classic blue and white windmill pattern but it has no mark on the bottom. I think it is a bulb pot. (Maybe a Crocus Flower Pot.) It measures about 5 " tall x 4" wide at the top. The original paint job on this bulb pot is not the best but it has a great windmill motif.

This is an old Edgeworth Extra High Grade Sliced Pipe Tobacco tin from Richmond, Va.. Inside it says "Fine Pipe Tobacco Since 1877". It is 3 1/4" X 2 1/4" X 3/4". It has been well used. It has some rusty patches but this is a rare and interesting item. We buy from estate sales so most of our listings are vintage or preowned (unless otherwise stated) and will show appropriate wear for their age...

This is a small vintage Marcia of California wagon wheel ashtray. It is about 5" diameter. It had a tiny chip on the rim and it has been repaired. It has a C 37 on the back and it says Marcia of California USA.

This is an eagle claw, skull meerschaum smoking pipe from Turkey. It is hand carved. Measures 6" in length, 2" height and 1 1/4" wide.

Meerschaum pipes are made out of compacted minerals from the sea. Meerschaum is a soft material when removed from the water, and once it has dried out it may be carved. Once the material has been carved it is usually covered in beeswax and heated thoroughly in a kiln to prevent it from cracking...
