This is a vintage horse collar with a pair of hames. It is authentic. A leather belt at the top and bottom hold the hames in place. It has been well used but the wear and tear just adds character. You can hang it on the wall to add a rustic feel to any room or you could put a mirror in the back. The horse collar measures 25" high and 18" wide. The hames is 28" long. This is a very heavy and solid item.
This is a fine old Chinese Cinnabar snuff bottle. I believe these are carved scenes with different scenes on each side. This has the original spoon in it.
It has brass trim on the lid and on the bottle itself around the rim. It is signed in gold on the bottom. I am not knowledgeable on Chinese antiques but I believe it is quite old. It measures
3 1/4" tall x 1 3/4" wide at the widest part.
We would be pleased to ship your gift items directly to friends and family members...

This brass ashtray is a puzzle to us. We do not know how old it is or where it was made. It IS really intriguing. It has a creature on the right top corner that looks like a dragon. Then , there are two children (?) trying to light a very long pipe in the middle of the ashtray. This is definitely a conversation starter. It has no marks on the back of the ashtray. It measures 5" high and 7" wide. This would be a fascinating and curious addition to any collection.
