Taking photographs of colored stones is tricky. It's difficult to get the exact color on print. I've taken photos with and without flash to give the viewer different perspectives.

This is the "Great Lakes Bulletin" newspaper from the U.S. Naval training center at Great Lakes, Illinois. The date is April 13,1945. The headline is
"Death Claims President Roosevelt".
This is the complete original newspaper as far as I can tell. It has been folded in half for many years but otherwise it is in good condition. There are a few tiny holes along the fold and some pages but it is in good shape for paper, lasting 66 years.

This is a set of 2 collector's plates for one price. The first plate is a decorative, vintage, 6" plate of
New Mexico. Great condition. On the back of the plate it says--"Design Patented".
The other plate is 4" in diameter. On the back of this plate it says "NICO, Made in Japan. Handpainted". This plate features Carlsbad Caverns Park in New Mexico.
It is in very good condition.
Vintage 3 Strand gray/silver Faux Pearl glass beads and Aurora Borealis Crystal Glass Necklace. I WONDER if this came from Japan. It belonged to a family member who spent time in Japan during military service to his country. He brought home lots of things from Japan at that time. But there is no way of knowing for sure. No marks. The longest strand is about 16" long.

This is a vintage 3 strand- beads, faux pearls,crystal glass gold/topaz-white colored necklace. Melon shape beads and many different shapes, sizes of beads. There are 6 crystal beads. I am guessing it is from the 1960s. Metal clasp, not marked. It came from an estate sale.

This is a set of six (6) consecutive numbered 1976 - BICENTENNIAL~~ Stamped on 1ST DAY of ISSUE - $2 bills in crisp uncirculated condition. Stamped and canceled April 13th, 1976, Cincinnati. On the back of the bills is a picture of the signing of the Declaration of the Independence.

Vintage Mad Hatter & DorMouse - Alice In Wonderland Salt & Pepper Shaker Set. The DorMouse is coming out of a teapot that is decorated with that most famous of tea parties. This is a vintage collector's plate on Hawaii.
The back of the plate reads-- "Novco Imports Souvenirs, Honolulu, Made in Japan".
It does not mention Hawaii as the 50th state. Maybe it was made before Hawaii became a state. (?) It does mention

This is a vintage glass swan powder jar and lipstick holder. The lipstick fits on the back between the wings. "Scalloped edge" on the lid and dish. Very good condition.
