This is an old auto valve grinder from Zim Manufacturing Co. in Chicago. If you turn the crank the end twists back and forth. The entire piece measures 13". It has a few scratches and a tiny bit of rust. The knob is wooden.

This plate is approximately 10 " diameter. Decorative use only. The plate does not have any chips or scratches. It has a swirled 1 3/4" edge all around. WHITE PLATE WITH GOLD TRIM . Very pretty.

This is a wonderful older, decorative plate of Yellowstone Park. There is a sticker on the back of the plate that says "Made in Japan". This plate measures 8" in diameter and has a lovely gold trim. It is in good condition. ( There is an area where the word "Yellowstone" is partly worn off. See photo--it is on the little photo of the "Entrance to Yellowstone Park.")

This is a Wyatt Art pottery ashtray produced in the 1970s by Wyatt Art Pottery of Burlington, Canada. Signed Canada W113--I THINK. It is hard to read the number but I think it is W113. It is shaped as a goose with its neck stretched out and 3 rests on the tail to hold cigarettes. It measures 10" long x 3" wide. Very good condition. A great accessory for the cottage, lodge or a gift for an outdoorsman...

This is a newspaper put out by the United Automobile Worker CIO, dated May 1, 1945. On the front page is a photo of Pres. Roosevelt and a poem by Walt Whitman, "O Captain, my Captain". Also a political drawing of the "People Mourn---". This newspaper is 8 pages long. There are lots of interesting articles concerning Pres. These are two handy vintage tools. The wrench is 10" long and it says 3/4" on it and Made in USA. It has a box end and an open end. The other tool is a wire cutter with a nail puller on one handle and a screwdriver on the other handle. It is well used because the screwdriver is rounded. The wirecutter is still sharp and square. This is a vintage wooden shoe with a matching shoe brush that sits in the shoe. I have no idea of the history. I would think that this item is from Holland but I am not sure. It is really beautiful. It is decorative and unique. It is carved and painted. (please see photos). Shoe is nicely formed and measures 9" long and has a hanger on back. Ready to hang.
