This is William Rogers Mfg. Co., Hartford, Conn, vintage, quadruple plate serving dish with ornate handle and pedestal base. It has the number 937 on the bottom of the dish. This piece is in good condition. It is quite lovely. But it shows overall wear including discoloration found throughout. There are a few light scratches inside the "bowl" of the dish. This is a very nice vintage WM. A. ROGERS silverplate butter dish, footed, with a glass insert tray and lid. It measures 8" long, 5" wide and 3" tall with the handle. Please look at both of the photo enlargements . As you can see , there are several dark spots. The piece needs cleaning . A QUALITY CLEANING & POLISHING WILL ENHANCE THIS ITEM.
