Here we have two greeting cards. One is a World War II- era birthday card.
It talks about "victory gardeners". On the back it says U.S.A.. It has been used.
The other card is a used Christmas card. These cards were handed out to members of the 2nd Division, 38th Inf. of the "Rock of the Marne" Army division during the Korean conflict in 1951. This card was sent from a son in Korea to his father at Christmas time...
This is a vintage set of 3 figurines--a plump mother hen and her two chunky chicks. They are hollow. They don't look old but we
bought them at an antique shop.
adorable. If you collect chickens , you need these. They would make a nice addition to any country kitchen. The mother hen measures 5" high and 4" wide.
The chicks measure 3" high and
2 1/2" wide. There is a mark on the bottom
of each one. It looks like a "T" and also "117". I am not familiar with that
This is a candelabra with 4 swans. It will hold 4 tapered candles and there is room
for a pillar candle in the center.
The photos show how you could put different kinds of candles in the middle. Candles not included. It measures 6" tall and about 11" wide. It needs to be cleaned and polished. It would look beautiful on a dinner table with candles burning.
This is an interesting piece. We bought it at an antique store but we really know nothing about it. It is marked on the bottom --
Victor Silver Co., quadruple plate. Marked 445 .
It has had rough treatment. It is really dented around the bottom. It needs cleaning .
There is engraving on the front of the loving cup.
It reads "I.A.B.B.L..
Batting, 2nd Prize."
This loving cup measures 4" high...

This is a vintage horse collar with a pair of hames. It is authentic. A leather belt at the top and bottom hold the hames in place. It has been well used but the wear and tear just adds character. You can hang it on the wall to add a rustic feel to any room or you could put a mirror in the back. The horse collar measures 25" high and 18" wide. The hames is 28" long. This is a very heavy and solid item.
This is a Royal Crown # 55/1148 mint or nut dish. It has a floral scene in the center of the dish. The edges of the dish are ruffled gilt edges. It measures about 8 1/2" at the widest part x 1 1/2" deep. It has a small footed bottom . I do not know the age of this piece but I think it is old. It has a little paint loss on one of the rosebuds probably due to age or use .
