Sheep Shears-Steel--Spring Handle-Vintage
$15.00 plus shipping
These may be some of the handiest tools around a country home. They were made to shear the wool from sheep. The shearer would hold the sheep between his knees and use these cutters to cut off the coat.
Gardeners use them for trimming garden growth. Made of high quality steel, these are often cut into two pieces and sharpened into separate knives because they hold an edge so well.
This set is quite old and rusty. I can’t find any kind of maker’s mark on them. They measure 11” long.
They’ll look great hanging on a wall to enhance your rustic look .
