This purple 9 1/8 inch American Historical Staffordshire plate in the "Race Street Bridge" pattern is a true beauty! It was made by Staffordshire potters John and Job Jackson (also known as Jackson's Warranted" between 1831 and 1835.
Depicted in the center pattern is how the Race Street Bridge, in Philadelphia, PA., appeared in the early 19th century.
Condition: Near Mint. Must have never been used as there are no condition issues other than a very, very tiny firing flaw on the back footrim. The glaze is extremely shiny.
A perfect addition to your collection of purple or Historical Staffordshire, or things related to Philadelphia!
