This is a cobalt (Ritz) "Prime Rib" pattern serving or mixing bowl, from the 30"s. Unknown maker but possibly L.E. Smith or Hazel Atlas. (I think I saw one previously identified as by Smith.)This 9" wide and 5" high bowl is in very good condition and is made to go in a metal base. If you go to the spglass.com site and search Prime Rib you will be able to see a picture of this bowl in the stand. It's a narrow metal stand that the bottom of the bowl twists into. The bowl does stand alone just fine though and it's so very pretty, along with being useful. Personally I think it would be more for a serving bowl than a mixing bowl but it's identified as a mixing bowl in places so I've called it both.
Thank you for looking and please email with questions. If you would like the exact URL for the bowl email me and I'll send it to you. Trocadero doesn't allow me to put it in this ad.
