This is a vintage Cardinal China Company Chip and Dip bowl set. This was made by the Carteret China Company (1940's - 1960's) of New Jersey. It has a 22k warranted gold trim. In the chip "well" 5 separate dip recipes are printed in gold. The dish measures 10"x4" including the attached dip bowl. This is a rare find- a Richard Ginori 12x8 serving tray in the beautiful blue floral Savona pattern. Carlo Ginori began producing porcelain china at his estate at Doccia in 1735 and after five generations, the family merged with the Milanese company Richard in 1896. Still located in the Tuscany region of Italy, this fine porcelain china company is one of the oldest in Europe
