The Evesham pattern of by Royal Worcester is a highly collectible English design on fine porcelain. Hand painted fruits and vegetables are trimmed with a 22-carat gold band. BigFootCat found this set with the gold flatware at an estate sale today. The flatware is Farberware---but BFC couldn't locate the pattern. This beautiful set was commissioned for the 1976 US Bicentennial by the Lafayette Legacy Society and produced by D'Arceau Limoges from Revolutionary War Scenes by Restieau. The plates are: North Island Landing; City Tavern Meeting; Battle of Brandywine; Message to Franklin, Siege at Yorktown and Triumphant Voyage. Each has its certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

This fine china is from Paden City Pottery and probably dates from the 1940's. Paden City Pottery (West Virginia) was in operation from 1914 to the mid 1950's. PCP32 is one of the many floral patterns they produced--it is a small spring bouquet om white in the center. The edge is gold followed by cream and with "curly" gold border.
