This collector plate is from Limoges-Turgot, France. Made in 1978, Marie Ange is the first in the Durand's Children collection by Paul Durand. It is Plate # 117 ad it comes with certification.
This beautiful set was commissioned for the 1976 US Bicentennial by the Lafayette Legacy Society and produced by D'Arceau Limoges from Revolutionary War Scenes by Restieau. The plates are: North Island Landing; City Tavern Meeting; Battle of Brandywine; Message to Franklin, Siege at Yorktown and Triumphant Voyage. Each has its certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
