A collector's plate by Limoges. It depicts one of the magnificent eggs created by Faberge for the Czars. It has a chip on the back that cannot be seen when on display. However, the price is reduced to reflect this.
This is a set of three collector Christmas plates from Andre Restieu's "Noel Vitrail" series patterned after stained glass panels at the Cathedral of Chartres, France. Included are: the 1975 edition plate #AX155 ,La Fuite En Egypte, the 1977 plate #BO856- Refus d'Herbergement. the 1978 plate # BD727 La Purification. Each plate beautifully replicates the colors of midieval stained glass.
