A unique find is this porcelain salt and pepper shaker set. They are cream trimmed with gold. The pepper shaker has the "Grace Before Meals" prayer with a picture of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The salt shaker has the "Grace After Dinner" prayer with a picture of Jesus. Cathedral shaped, they are 5" tall. The label says "fine quality Lego Japan".
This is a heavy duty rosette maker from Hirco. The instruction booklet is dated 1875 and describes the iron as Waffle Baekers. There are 5 molds, 2 patty shells, a Christmas tree, star and circular design. Served with honey or powdered sugar these make anytime (not just Christmas time) yummies.
