This is a rare find- a Richard Ginori 12x8 serving tray in the beautiful blue floral Savona pattern. Carlo Ginori began producing porcelain china at his estate at Doccia in 1735 and after five generations, the family merged with the Milanese company Richard in 1896. Still located in the Tuscany region of Italy, this fine porcelain china company is one of the oldest in Europe

This Godinger Leaf-Shaped Handled Dish was made of white porcelain. This dish is approximately 8-inches long and 6 3/4-inches wide with a gold rim. There is also a heart outline of blue and dark red pansies, another of green leaves with a floral spray in the center. Aperfect dish for serving her Valentine's candy. The underside of the dish has a red flower under which are I. Godinger & Co. in gold.
