This is a 4 in. square souvenir dish--probably sold as an ashtray. Although it is stamped "Mitterbach- Bavaria, Germany", it is of the Quebecoise shrine of Ste. Anne de Beaupre. It's beautiful depiction of the shrine is trimmed with gold.
