The Hero Shanghai Pen Company was founded in 1933. So it isn't a coincidence that their mainstays resemble old Parkers. The 616 is an aeromatic fill pen that has been made for years. From its cap to its hooded fine point it looks like a twin to the Parker 51. I am a fountain pen collector ---and USER. When teaching, I used these fountain pens (cartridge type) to motivate my students to learn to write cursive. I bought these trainers from a pen merchant in London--where all children still learnn to write cursive with fountain pens. For $1.25 you receive, the pen (medium fine point) and 1 cartridge.
