This is a large crystal cut glass server. the pattern is 3 dimensional roses and lattice.

This beautiful hand cut covered candy or vanity dish had us researching (in vain) for hours. We could not find exact pattern. However, it is similar to British patterns of the early 20 century as well as American ones of the Depression era.
