The top shape is almost a fleur de lis, made of bezeled topaz (faux?)stones surrounding a star whose center is a rhinestone. Our beautiful vintage feather pin is signed - dce g.f.. "dce" is the trademark of Curtis Jewelry Mfg. which was founded in Providence, RI around 1950. They manufactured gold plated, gold filled and sterling silver jewelry. Much of the Curtis jewelry seen on the market right now dates back to the 1950's or perhaps early 1960's. The pieces usually small and delicate with traditional designs. Our Feather Pin is 2 1/2" and has a pearl set in it.

This is a 1950's "key to my heart" necklace. This piece is from my mother's estate. It features a filigree and embossed heart and key. The heart has an emblem shape for engraving, which is blank. This is probably gold plated - although we are not sure. It polishes beautifully with a jeweller's cloth. The chain is 18 inches.
