Lop Ear and Little Gray was written by Morton Friend and illustrated by Lillian Obligado. This is a true life story of coyotes' survival. The illustrations are quite colorful and beautifully. Although, it is an easy reader---I wouldn't recommend it for under 4th grade. This book is a first edition published by LW Singer in 1965. It was part of a school's resource center. Other than the center staff, it (like our other acquisitions from this center) appears to not have been used.
