This Charles Scribner's Sons Books for Young Readers is a stated First Edition published by Macmillan Publishing Company in 1994. It is a hard covered text with a glossy pictorial front and rear dust cover that is very nicely illustrated by Peter Parnell. This meaningful story involves a young girl and her impoverished family who reside in the mountains. Suffice to say that over time she realizes that she is rich in the things that really matter most in life. Our copy is in Fine condition with the only flaws being very light scuffing to the dust cover corners and the former owners name neatly written inside the front cover. All else is immaculate.
