Retro Pink Fashion Hat
This awesome find is truly a piece of Arizonan and American history. It is a lady's pink fashion hat originating from the 50s, 60s, or 70s. It was sold (and possibly made) right here in Arizona.
The real treat comes from the three labels that adorn the interior.
The first is a union stamp label, indicating that the hat was made by a member of the United Hatters Cap & Millinery Workers. This union was active 1934-1978.
The second label is the store's, indicating the hat was sold at Diamond's Department Store right here in Phoenix. Diamond's was sold to Dillard's in 1984.
I have not been able to find much about the third label. It is the name Nancy in what appears to be a stylized megaphone.
This hat is in great condition and is just waiting to be brought back into the fashion scene.
