Avant Garde Magazine - set of 3 - Issues # 1, 2 & 3

Avant Garde Magazine was published by Ralph Ginsburg from 1968-1971.He described the magazine as " a post pyrotechnic, futuristic bimonthly of intellectual pleasure". I am offering for sale my set of three - the premier first issue, the second and the third. The Premier Issue #1, January 1968, includes What Makes Nixon Run? by Warren Boroson; *Galahad's Pad, by Juloio Mitchel; *The Hate Mail of Captain Levy. *Let's Retire Our Most Overworked Four-letter Word, by Professor L. Eric Hotaling; *Richard Lindner: The Rubens of the Love Generation etc. The second is a very special issue - featuring a fantastic spread on Marilyn Monroe: A portfolio of serigraphic prints by Bert Stern. Issue three contains such topics as The Revaluation of the Dollar, 19 Artists Design a New Dollar Bill and Andy's Girls.
