Very nicely illustrated by Deborah Kogan Ray this book describes the hardships a young girl and her family face traveling across the country in a covered wagon in the 1860s. Our copy, stated First Edition, was published in 1988 by Holiday House. It is a former library book with a laminated dust cover and reinforced binding. There is a library jacket pocket and a few library stamps on the rear page but overall this issue is in Fine condition without any marks, tears, or creases on the text pages.
