The Viking Children's World Atlas

This hard cover book {no d/j) was published in 1983 by The Viking Press and the ISBN# is 0-670-21791-3. Written by Jacqueline Tivers and Michael Day it is an interesting approach to introduce young people to the World through an Atlas. The authors create two fictitious children, Simon & Sarah, and starting with the house the live in expanding to a street, town, country, continent, planet, solar system, it creates an entertaining and educational journey. What I think makes this book particularly fascinating is that it describes all the details as we knew them many years ago. Our copy, while used, is in Fine condition.
