Vintage hard cover (no d/j) book published in 1961 by Holt, Rinehart & Winston. Best suited for 5th-6th grade students this is a good adventure story by an accomplished author. The text is 167 pages in length and includes B&W illustrations by Charles Geer. Overall the book is in Good++ condition. The front and rear bottom cover corners are bruised; the former owners name and address is neatly written inside the front cover; and the pages do show some light signs of age.
