Swan & Rooster Silver and Crystal Salt & Pepper Shakers

This is a unique antique set of salt and peppers shakers, circa 1920. The salter, actually a salt cellar, is a delicate swan whose wings, neck and head are finely detailed silver over a crystal body. Her wings open and close. The pepper shaker is a crowing rooster whose neck, head, wings and feet are finely detailed silver over a crystal body. While there are a few similar swans in the auction houses (not EBAY) there seems to be no complete sets. This set is from my Grandmother Bellotti's (Nanny) home. Nanny, born in 1892 was married in 1908, and "went home"--as she put it--in 1987. This set had been in her home at least since 1925.
