FRANCE CRYSTAL D’ARQUES SET OF 6 CHAMPAGNE “FLUTES”
Those glasses come from France. In French, the word “flute” describe a long, tall, thin glass reserved for champagne.
Made in 1970 in the town of Arques, in North of the country by the Arc International Co that is famous for its crystal creations.
This model is called Louvre and they are 6 ½ “ tall with a 2” circumference.
Those glasses are 24% lead crystal.
The plant still exit but no longer produce crystal items concentrating its work strictly on art glass so you are sure to be getting something special that cannot be found anymore.
Those glasses were never used as you can see from the sticker and come in the original box
where they have been kept for the last 44 years.
