The Mollie Maguires and the Detectives, Allan Pinkerton, Dover Publications, New York, 1973, 552 pages. A softbound reprint of the 1877 original by the head of the Pinkerton Detective Agency, whose lying agent McParland sent 20-some men to the gallows. This has damage to the cover, but inside is o.k. Interesting hand-written note at the back regarding a prior owner's grandfather's experience with the Mollies.
