This 6" pepperette or sugar shaker has a sterling top and collar, both with English hallmarks. The glass body is cut and also engraved around the midsection with a scene of deer and trees. There are a few minor flakes off bottom edge, no-show/no-harm. I am uncertain as to its age - can't find this particular maker.

This OSFP inkstand has considerable rosing. It measures approx. 8 x 5". The marks are somewhat hard to read - they look like crossed keys, Old English letters DO, and possibly a lion's head, each in a cartouche. Two of the feet have been reattached as shown in final photo. Overall, a pretty piece with a lovely gallery rim.

Apparently this pattern was first made by A.& W. Wood, and their dies were obtained by George Shiebler. Also seems some confusion over the spelling of the pattern - some sources calling it Clemantis, others Clematis. In any event, this is an absolutely beautiful sift ladle, measuring 7-1/4". It has never been monogrammed. The marks on the back are those of the retailer, J. COOK, along with the words PATENTED 1869. ...click for details
