This hand-painted hankerchief is an example of I.R.A. artwork done in the prisons. This particular one, done in 1974 in Portlaoise Prison, bears several signatures including that of the Chief of Staff of the IRA. He was a rather reclusive gentleman and I doubt you'll ever find another example of his signature. I don't want to blabber names in such a public fashion - if you are interested email me and I'll supply further details. (Those of you who know your history will figure out who was in Portlaoise that year!) I understand that such items cannot be shipped to Ireland and the UK, if so, please purchase at your own risk if this is confiscated. Shipping within the USA $10.00. It measures approx. 18" square.
